The World Champion Los Angeles Lakers begin their 2009-2010 season tonight along with the ring ceremony and banner raising acknowledging their 15th NBA Championship. To commemorate this moment, adidas Originals is releasing a special edition metallic gold and purple Superstar. CMD and Hong Kong DJ and musical artist DJ Tommy link up with adidas Originals on the launch of an exclusive toy. The Robot toy is based off of the same character seen within DJ Tommy’s latest single for his upcoming album We Make A Hit. The China-only exclusive toy will come complete with three DJ Tommy tracks and given away with adidas purchases in excess of ¥1,500 RMB (approximately $219 USD).
